Rory Cocker
Rory - the baby of the Hide and Geek team at 15 - is currently attending secondary school in Preston, England and is due to take his GCSE examinations between May and June. After secondary school, Rory plans to attend Runshaw College in Preston to study English Language, Media Studies, ICT and Philosophy A-Levels. The future is still somewhat clouded, but Rory plans to enrol at a University such as UCLan to study Technology Journalism.
Despite his tender age, Rory has been a gamer for as long as he can remember, and grew up playing legacy systems as early as the Commodore Amiga, taking a liking to platform and adventure games. Throughout his early teens, Rory took a huge shining to Nintendo and, in particular, The Legend of Zelda and Metroid Prime series.
It wasn’t until recently that Rory decided he’d like to write about games for a living, and he immediately started work on a blog at www.owiily.wordpress.com before moving on to bigger and better things here at Hide and Geek.
Rory spends most of his time playing video games, particularly Rock Band and Call of Duty 4, but also takes interest in mountain biking, drawing and playing the guitar.
